Dr. James Holly, Jr Urban Missionary | Educator Youth Development Specialist.  Dr. Holly is a native Detroiter who has spent the last 11 years pursuing “higher education”, learning what it means to be a scholar, and contemplating how to leverage his gained competencies and experiences for the wholistic enrichment of black and urban youth.

In his new role as an Assistant Professor in Urban STEM education at Wayne State university, he aims to assist the formation of critically conscious STEM Educators that effectively utilize and support the assets of urban non-white students.



Target Audience: Parents/Guardians/Educators & Students throughout the Tri-County area.

We will expose 4th through 12th grade students to resources and experiences to equip and empower them to achieve success through their next level educational endeavors!









2019-Special Guest Speaker Genesis Anderson


We present to you a remarkably gifted and multidimensional fourteen-year-old known as Genesis Anderson. He is a leader, innovator, debater, justice seeker, speaker, and an artist. His creativity spans multiple artistic platforms including live performance, visual artistry, musical composition, photography, and drawing. Genesis gleans his inspiration from his faith, culture, and passion for excellence. An avid learner in his , martial arts training, and entrepreneurial endeavors he strives to reflect the highest character embracing his purpose to lead, using his gifts for the empowerment and improvement of his community. Genesis is the winner of the 2018 Hope Global Forums National Pitch Competition and founder of PAPCA. PAPCA stands for Past and Present Creative Arts and is an artistic platform used to speak truth, share history, information and educate through the medium of art. PAPCA uses apparel, photography, paintings, and graphics to share positive messages to its customers. PAPCA brings the wisdom and history of the past to the present through art.


Genesis successfully launched in 2017, the Choose Life campaign. The goal of the “Choose Life” campaign is to promote good choices that inspire youth to build others up by speaking positivity and encouraging individuals to live life to the fullest. He is currently working on the launch of a new campaign “We Can Be More”. We Can Be More is a campaign designed to engage young black males to consider and pursue engagement in categories not traditionally promoted to achieve success. He is passionate about being a voice and change agent to his peers and youth in his community. Genesis is currently in high school, working towards his future endeavors to study business and begin to work towards educating urban communities about entrepreneurship and economics.
